Hood Lights

A hood light in the hood can be just as important as the performance of the hood as any other component of the system. Hood lights aid in providing lighting to your cooking surfaces and act as indicators to the system operating as it should. While the internal lights provide light for the cooking and prep areas under the hood, indicator lights on the switch panel can indicate to other conditions of the hood system. Each Select Air Systems’ switch panel includes indicator lights to show if a switch is active and/or a monitoring system is active. One example of this would be if the fan switch is in the off position but the indicator light is on, this is an indication that the fans are being called to activate due to a heat sensor being active.

  • Incandescent Lights – The incandescent light fixture is the standard light fixture used in Select Air System’s hoods. Includes the base, shatter resistant globe, and required hardware. This fixture accommodates a standard incandescent bulb and multiple LED bulbs.
  • Led Light Fixtures– Select Air Systems offers multiple types of LED light fixtures to accommodate most applications. These include round, square and rectangular versions.
  • Indicator Lights– This lights are generally used in conjunction with a switch on the switch panel. These lights are used to indicate that a switch is active.
